OK, my involvement in the Winona State University has dropped.  I was an avid member through my first 3 years of college, and even President of the club during my Sophomore year.  Classes and everything else caught up with me and I have been trying to ride on my own time.  Hasn't been happening too well.

Had a big wreck on October 1, 2001.  Took on a parked truck at about 10:30 at night (don't ask....I don't remember it or about a week after it). As I am told, I was hitting about 40 MPH, and hit the truck totally with my knee, sending me over 10 feet in the air only to land on my face.  $800 of damage to the truck, an expensive ambulance ride, hospital time, and much time afterwards.  Torn MCL, concussion, time on crutches.....and that took up October.  Still in recovery, as my knee tends to have about 1/2" of slop now.  Had to steal a wheel off my Mesa GSX to get the Homegrown back in working order, other than that it didn't see much damage.

I used to only bike for speed, but am getting very interested in trials and stunt riding. We have some really nice trails in Winona-- the Holzinger Trails. It's all bluffs and water around here, I love it.
